A Conversation with Three Extraordinary Women
Dr. Latoya (Brenda’s Child) Bosworth
Brenda’s Child is an educator, author, speaker, and self-esteem expert. Her life’s mission is to inspire others to find their voice, to empower youth and women, and educate those who work with them. She earned her PhD in Social and Community Service, and her research, of course, involves young women.
In addition to writing and working with children Crystal teaches in the Women as Empowered Leaders and Learners program at Bay Path University. Her novel, “The Rhythm in Blue” became a feature film and won several awards at film festivals around the world. She is currently working on her 8th novel.
Magdalena Gómez was a vanguard member of the Nuyorican Literary Movement. Her work has been performed Off-Broadway in NYC, Los Angeles, Montreal, Paris, and Washington, D.C. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Master Artist and the 2018 NEPR Arts and Humanities awards.

Victoria is actively involved with many organizations in the Pioneer Valley including Springfield’s exciting Puerto Rican parade. She has her Master of Science in Leadership and Negotiation and serves as a mentor in the Girls Inc./MassMutual Teen Leadership Academy
