After decades in Boston, Chicopee native Ruth Roy came back home, which is good news for us. In October, Roy signed on as a development associate, and has already proven to be a whiz at developing development!
Recently, Roy was the director of annual giving at Elms College. Prior to that, she worked in development at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston, and the Lahey Medical Center. She has also served on the boards of several nonprofits, including Providence Ministries in Holyoke. “I’m a big Ruth fan!” says Dee Ward, Director of Programs. “She believes in our mission, is super easygoing, an absolute team player, and comes to us with all sorts of experience and knowledge. We are so lucky to have her.”
