Springfield of dreams

File this under the we-just-keep-growing department: we have launched the Girls Inc. summer program, which extends our school-year mentoring partnership with Chestnut Academy, a middle school in Springfield. And so the girls got lots of opportunities to be outside and in the community, learning and playing and building friendships. They swam at the school pool and hiked around Holyoke’s Ashley Reservoir with Peter Miller, supporter and partner at Springfield’s MillBrook Benefits. They learned about ecology at Forest Park, toured the campus of Springfield College, and more. It’s been a great summer in the city!
